She was getting to be too much and it was covering up the board. Posters were getting angry and many long-time posters were turning into trolls and flamers. The first time it happened, they all shifted to a different board. I don’t remember if that had anything to do with the current format of Rockman but a lot of people were really upset. It’s just that it was too overwhelming for the other posters to deal with, in my opinion, and people here don’t like fantasies and conspiracies, my opinion again. There’s enough fantasy in Jim’s lyrics.

I do try.

I would really like to do “Frankenstein” but I don’t want to push Jim and make Jim and those people’s lives difficult.

Besides, I am focusing on trying to produce something I started 8 years ago. It’s been with me ever since high school. My friend and I from high school, who was a musician and we wrote songs together, finally got together last year to complete what we began as teenagers. The concept, book and lyrics are mine and the music is his. Last year, we recorded an album for a presentation at a theatre and it was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. But then it all went to the shit when the director went on holiday without telling us and we got stuck dealing with all these alternate people WHO WOULDN’T EVEN LISTEN TO US.

I can’t tell you, EVERYONE ON ROCKMAN, how upsetting and depressing that was. The theatre community in Victoria won’t even consider “The Confidence Man” even though the composer wrote the third greatest selling rock album of all time BECAUSE IT’S NEVER BEEN PRODUCED ON BROADWAY.

What the hell chance do I have with our show?

It’s so important to me and we’re stuck in this horrible sort of limbo while he makes strides with his band.

At least JIM gets “Bat out of Hell, The Epic Rock Spectacular” or whatever it’s called.

That really sucks.
