Awesome detective work, guys! So if I understand correctly, it's a Gibson Explorer, probably modified. Interesting! I'm guessing those videos didn't have a huge budget, so he just took whatever guitar he could get his hands on. But still, you'd think he could find a Fender somewhere. Unless, as Scaramouche says, it's intentional? Too bad Jim doesn't blog anymore. Not even a peep when Phil Spector got sent to the slammer.
