Well this I agree with. His strengths are music & lyrics but not so sure about book/script.
Jim claims the script is the greatest thing he's ever written, but I wouldn't object if someone else (more successful/experienced) tweaked/streamlined, as I imagine it may be 'stodgy' in places.
As I said earlier Scarfe/Brickman/ILM sounds like a top notch team and Jim would be wise to loosen the reins & let them do their thing.
Imagine also if they could get Michael Bay onboard as director, who I don't think has done any theatre (yet) but did such a great job interpreting the Bat 2 songs.
