Think that is a a harsh conclusion to draw on Springsteen "the voice is on the way out". I saw him in Hyde Park yesterday and he has an energy I cannot think any other 59 year old has and his singing was spot on on the songs. Yes he does an amazing show like Meat but unlike Meat he has never struggled off and on with his voice as much whatsoever. His following would be hugely diminished (which has only increased actually) if he had imo as it's the live shows that make him not his albums really. Live sound of Glasto was not so hot on the vocals I thought anyway.

Sure his voice has been more coarse since about 1999, with the come back of the E Street shows but I reckon the style of singing / age has done that. Will he be doing shows like this in 10 years time? Probably not and if in that respect you mean "the voice is on the way out" yeah you will be proven right but then you can say that about anybody hitting that age maybe with the exception of Tom Jones / Frank Sinatra but their style music and concerts are/were totally different.

Tony Christie came out for 1 song as far as I can make out but maybe that was BBC cutting away?

White Lies were awful. Probably the most awful thing I've seen broadcast on Glasto ever.

Never saw Blur, not my cup of tea.
