Wow. That was totally uncomfortable to watch. Neither Meat nor Jim looked like they gave a rat's ass about anything Susan Blond had to say. (And certainly they can't be blamed for that.)

Both guys looked like they just wanted the other to shut the fuck up when they were talking.

Meat actually surprised me with his historical references to Henry VIII and Vaudeville. I would have expected that from Jim.

"A Rock ' n Roll Mutation in a Race With Death." That would make a pretty cool title for Meat's next (last???) album.

Now, I love Jim's take on rock ' roll: Fever. Fantasy. Violence. Romance. Rebellion. Fun. But, honestly, I still don't think Bat is a true rock n' roll record. And I think anbody who heard Jim's bit on that show and went out and bought the album may have been disappointed. Surely they would have at least expected more violence.

Lastly, funny to hear Jim dissing Genesis and Yes. Its like he was trying to start a prog-rocker rap-war, before anybody knew what a rap-war was. Would love to hear Jim elaborate on the difference between "whimsical" fantasy and his own brand of fantasy, which is apparently not whimsical.
