Actually, I think the best visual representation of Meat and Jim's respective thoughts during this appearance would have been if each guy was wearing an "I'm with douchebag" t-shirt, with an arrow on each shirt pointing at the other guy.

And, one more observation; how about Meat saying Jim was wearing gloves like Darth Vader FROM STAR WARS.

Point being, I can't recall any time in my life when it has been necessary to qualify a Darth Vader reference with the name of the movie, or movies, in which he was a character. Life was very different in 1978.
