Same reason Patti was kicked out and Brian May and Jennifer Hudson were stuck in... Meat and the label thought shoving a bunch of big names in would spell success. Same reason that Michael Crawford, John Rando and whoever DOTV's choreographer were brought in. Shove in a bunch of big names and it has to be a success right?
