Remember reading in Kerrang (back around Bat 2 time) that Jim was working with Patricia Knop on a stage musical called 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' and I think the article said based loosely on 'Wuthering Heights'.
Not sure if any of this went into the MTV version, but I think this could be a good (affordable) project for off-broadway or a small west-end theatre, as a counterpoint to the big spectacle of BOOH?
Certainly a few songs could fit/work:
