Yes. You can escape into Jim's music. Its only temporary but you need to escape harsh reality at least once a day. As you say about Jim's music unlocking your brain and taking you to a place where you can just be okay. Some people use gentle chant music to meditate but I prefer Jim's musical style for relaxation.
