| Smeg, you were the only one who bothered to make an intelligent response to my "1750 words of crap". I thank you for that. I see what you mean in your answer about the importance of islands. The thing with Jim's script is that it doesn't start in a place like London and then go to a place like Neverland. Its all in Obsidian. Would you say that Obsidian is London and Neverland mixed together? When you say: "trust me... I know Neverland and its heart and soul.", do you mean Jim's Neverland or JM Barrie's? I am guessing Jim's. When we argued about whether or not I had read the script, it would have been nice if you could have shared some of your insight, instead of fighting, since you seem to be very familiar with it. I disagree that I am a sycophant. I told Jim that George Orwell would have loved Obsidian, as well as Hook as a police chief. He seemed to like that. But I wasn't just trying to think of a compliment. I really believed that. One negative thing I said was that Peter gets too many songs and Hook doesn't get enough, even though Hook is (to me) a more interesting character (although he has a fantastic speech). BTW, as far as them worrying about journalists reading the board, and you saying: "Then they should worry about the producer's daft cunt son running wild...", I can assure you that they do. | |
