When "Starlight Express" was revised in London '92 Richard Stilgoe wasn't even asked to revise lyrics. Don Black was brought in instead. The same goes with "Tell Me On A Sunday", the 2003 production, which Black was barely involved in. Don Black took over lyrics for "Whistle" on the Bill Kenwright Productions tour. I've even heard of uncredited lyricists changing lines in the revivals of "Superstar" and "Evita" Hart's involvement with the "Phantom" movie really took me by surprise | |
