I think that if there was any confidence in the project then the money should come easily. Jim does not generate any confidence in finishing anything in a timely manner.
In saying that though, patience can be rewarded with a work of art. My question is, do the backers have the patience? My guess is no.

Based on what?

I agree, however, that ad should have been followed up with a website with more information on it. Meat's fans are eating up his twitter posts much like Jim's fans were his blogs. Is it really smart to keep his diehard fans on the fringes?

That is very easy. One ad, maybe very expensive but in the end a waste. No website, no mention of credible financial backers, no disrespect to those who are putting money into it,but the way Jim talked about it, it was going to take some major money to bring it off the way Jim wants to.

The subtle innuendo refers to all the pointless little tidbits that get dropped around here with no way of knowing what is true or just speculation. No offense to anyone but it just adds to the amatuerish way the whole thing is being put together.

Three years and nothing. No demos, no pictures, no blogs, no interviews and very little but regurgitated news items in the trade papers,
