I didn’t put the songs in any order. I just imagined these would be the ones they’d go to first if they were going to make a “Bat…” musical. I know Jim said he wanted to use “Body”, “Still the Children” and “Who needs the young?”

But now you mention it, I can see “Bat out of Hell” being an alright opening number because the opening verse would set the scene for the futuristic world for Obsidian (it’s still called that?) and Peter breaking out of the Asylum for the Chemically Insane (?) mesmerized by the image of Wendy?

But here’s the list of characters I can see singing the songs (and these aren't meant to be in any specific order by the way.)

BAT OUT OF HELL - Peter, Lost Boys and Obsidianites
YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH (HOT SUMMER NIGHT) - Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys
HEAVEN CAN WAIT - Wendy and the marriage sequence
ALL REVVED UP WITH NO PLACE TO GO - Peter
TWO OUT OF THREE AIN’T BAD - Hook remembering
PARADISE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT - If the Historian is still there it should serve the same function as “Keep on Truckin’” in “The Dream Engine” (if Jim still has the Historian, he doesn’t have to write any stage instructions or worry about producing any sort of spectacle because the Historian’s descriptive language would cover it all.) If not, Hook and Mrs. Hook looking back.
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD - The Regeneration sequence, perhaps. I do see this as the finale.
I’D DO ANYTHING FOR LOVE (BUT I WON’T DO THAT) - Peter & Wendy, the Abduction sequence?
LIFE IS A LEMON AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK - Hook, definitely. This is a real Hook song.
ROCK AND ROLL DREAMS COME THROUGH - When I listen to the “Bad for Good” version, it feels like the end credits for a movie. But there are already two strong candidates for the closing number.
OUT OF THE FRYING PAN (AND INTO THE FIRE) - Too many Peter songs, I don’t exactly know where this could be used.
OBJECTS IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR - To me, this is Hook’s origins story and it makes him into a more fascinating complex villain. I have always been fascinated by the character of scary old Captain Hook. He can’t always have been an angry old man.
EVERYTHING LOUDER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE - I definitely see this as a riot scene.
LOST BOYS AND GOLDEN GIRLS - This would be the theme for the Lost Boys.
WHO NEEDS THE YOUNG? - I can almost see this being done as a cabaret number at a hangout in Obsidian not entirely unlike The Dive (Have you seen the video for “If you were a woman (And I was a man)”?
WHAT PART OF MY BODY HURTS THE MOST - I have no idea.
WE’RE STILL THE CHILDREN WE ONCE WERE - I still don’t know how this and “For crying out loud” could be done as back to back finales. Both work.

My 200 cents.
