We all know about Jim's love/inspiration of Wagner and "golden oldies" rock music. Spector's wall of sound, etc.
I was just wondering though, his lyrics seem pretty unique to me. Sometimes comical, sometimes heartfelt and loving, sometimes deathly serious.
Has he ever spoken much on what inspires his lyrics, if anything?
