I believe there are 2 Andrew Lloyd Webber shows that have never played Broadway, "Whistle down the Wind" and "The Beautiful Game", 3 if you count "Jeeves" which was different to the revisal "By Jeeves". "By Jeeves", which was a flop on Broadway, and "The Woman in White", which was also a flop, were the only shows composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber to have played Broadway in the 2000s.

I don’t think there's anything necessarily wrong with setting "Whistle" in Louisiana. I think that's more interesting because of the religious side of things. In my opinion, it's Bill Kenwright’s production that's the problem. But I've been over this before as have many others and I just wish someone would take the initiative to bring back the real production from the West End, all songs in tact. I wish Jim could have been involved with "Love Never Dies". Think what he could have done with that setting, a Gothic theme park, freak shows, scary clowns, and the great fire at Steeplechase Park in 1907, the list goes on...
