| "Bat out of Hell", "Heaven can wait" and "All revved up with no place to go" all came from "Neverland". Meat Loaf, for example, has said on the Storytellers DVD that Jim writes a lot of his songs for "Neverland". It's been a continual work in progress almost for the past 40 years. Jim would be foolish to blow this opportunity on another story instead of "Neverland". And we know how much he recycles. I have always believed it is "Neverland" and I would not be surprised, come 2011, when the show opens and it is that story. The question for me is how close is it to the 1977 workshop? Jim's ideas for the screenplay from the 1980s were already a lot different than the production. Forget about Smeg. > Smeg wrote a treatment of a Bat Musical with Neverland in > mind so unfortunately this Chinese whispers game that gets > played out on this forum could be cleared up straight away > by someone official from the show other than the non paid > Stuart.
