first of: I dont hate it, it just didnt blow me away like other ML releases did.
The thing is, if you listen to the James Michael demo, you believe it's actually him being the "los angeloser". But I dont buy all the yo baby's, aahs and ooohs from him. I just doesnt match his persona.
(would be the same if you'd have lady gaga sing Johnny Cash's hurt or moon river.)
but who knows, maybe he's successful with it!? It's a nice shallow feel-good song, a perfect candidate for a summer hit.
