I never really bought this, but I could be wrong. I don't shop at Wal-Mart, and I can't be bothered to go into one to see if any other CD's have more than 12 tracks on them.
If it was only length that was the issue, why would they bleep "Like a Rose"? I don't listen to Nickelback, so could it be more the overall "theme" rather than the words themselves?
In regard to the OP, you're right- if I hadn't read it online, I would have had no idea there were 2 versions, and I probably would have gone for the single CD one as well.
