| You know I haven't listened to it in ages, but I DO think I stumbled upon it when playing around with arpeggios the other week / fortnight. (Actually gay little arpeggios are pretty much the only way I know how to flesh out an arrangement or add a little width to a melody, hence the birth of my recording of PIG). It's fun enough to play around with... but I still dislike the song and think it's crap. :o) Comparatively speaking or otherwise. > Harsh! > > It's fine not to like it, but it certainly 'aint > 'shitty'. > > I love the song (especially the lyrics) and think the best > version (so far) was done by Rob Evan & Mandy Gonzales, > live @ Joe's Pub in January 2005 (feels like yesterday). > > I'm not keen on any of the three studio demos (pop, dance > & piano), that were put up briefly, nor the TDE live > arrangement from 2006. > > I think it only needs a minimalist arrangement like Heaven > Can Wait, with a small string section, a much 'smoother' > piano, and maybe Jim's 'telephone' vocal as an intro. > > I don't think it is a single, but will make a great album > track (for someone?!?). > > > > > It's a shitty, boring song.
