| Scratch that last question. I just googled and of course Iovine had hands on Bat I and BfG, as well. Meat credited him with making Two Out of Three a hit in a Bat III interview I just stumbled across. So, Jim - find Jimmy Iovine's phone #. Keep your eyes on this year's Idol crop for a suitable voice. Then hope he / she wins. And finish that 2nd verse to "Body" already, okay? > Just to get back to the occasional discussion about > whether Jim could / should do anything w/ Idol, I read > yesterday that Idol is now in bed with Interscope Records > and Jimmy Iovine will be a significant player behind the > scenes on AI this season (and going forward, presumably.) > Also, one of the changes they hope to make is to have a > "radio-ready" single (perhaps a whole album?) prepped and > ready to go for the winner within weeks of the > season's-end. > > So my thought was, given Jim's history w/ Jimmy Iovine, > might this be the best time for Jim to take a stab at an > Idol connection, possibly submitting a couple of potential > singles? > > Also - am I totally imagining that Jim and Jimmy Iovine > have any significant ties?
