It's from 'Formation of the Tribe' (CD1 track 3), although I think Jim has referred to this song in interviews as 'How Do You Bury The Skull Of Your Country?' > After looking at some websites, I can only find > information about the 1969 "The Dream Engine" production. > Was it ever revived? There was a cast reunion in 1999, but Jim cancelled (bottled it?) at the last minute. http://home.comcast.net/~lgt30a/de/reunion_now.html > If anyone here was at the Joe's Pub concert, then I would > really like to hear what you thought of it. Nothing ever done in London (all NYC & Mohegan Sun), although I think Rinkoff was trying to set-up shows in Germany & London. > Was there ever any attempt to present "The Dream Engine" as a show or > was it always intended to be a band? Who knows? I think a touring band with maybe a concept album? Why not send Jim or Rink an e-mail, and then tell us? BTW - The first OTT shows in January 2005, Rinkoff was outside taking video of the crowd/queue so I would suggest he videod the show as well? | |
