Which makes the Bat 3 saga even more bizarre. He should/could have easily done a rock album with Desmond Child (would have probably turned out better than Child trying & failing to emulate Steinman), and then come back to Bat 3 with Jim (I think Jim would have put the musical on hold to do it).
