Wolf, thanks for your post.

I really really hope that it does turn out to be awesome. There are people who think that Jim is not doing much at the moment but actually he has been wroking hard on creative projects since at least 1969. He doesn't take time off unless the baseball World Series is on and the Yankees are one of the teams competing.

Would you prefer a long, multi threaded narrative to your suggestion of short stories set in the same place? Which would suit "BOOH" better?

I agree about Bela Lugosi deserving recognition. Its sad the way he ended up. Working with Ed Wood. Did you see the Tim Burton film? We didn't mention that one when we were discussing Burton projects.

I got into Bela Lugosi when I was following a Gothic rock band called Bauhaus. "Bela Lugosi Is Dead" is their best song. Please click the link at the bottom of the page for more information. Their cover art features a bat. Its a great song.

I absolutely loved the original "Dracula" film. Didn't he perform the role on stage as well?

Yes. Why not? Oh my goodness. Jim's music is everywhere. He should be much more famous than he is. The situation is crazy. Even Pixie Lott's PR agent screwed up and said "Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell The Musical". Also, of course you should direct the film.

BTW, what did you think of Stuart Beattie's film story. I doubt that he will write the stage version but he is very keen on writing the film version (which can be a different story from the stage person).
