And I think the door has actually been closed every night of my life for the last 10 years. > Actually if I was afraid, I would have done the opposite > and kept the bedroom door open. Did you ever watch the > film "Boogeyman"? You wouldn't sleep in a bedroom that had > a closet I can assure you. I think I've heard of it but I've never seen it. My bedroom window faces the drive and it's just near the front door of the house, and because I write I'll be up to all hours of the morning sometimes. But I have always had this slight fear, a paranoia almost that one of these nights there's going to be a knock at the window and when I go to check who's there, there'll be nobody at all. Silly, I know... But on the night Pink Floyd were about to appear at Live8, a friend of mine came to the house to wake me up early because we weren't going to miss this. Of course, I'd completely forgotten, so he tapped at the window at 5AM in the morning and I was so overwhelmed I began crying out hysterically, this mortal scream of terror haha. Then I hear laughter, hysterical laughter coming from outside, and it's my friend who now thinks it's one of the funniest things he has ever witnessed. And from time to time he still likes to knock on the window to see what my reaction would be. | |
