| Wow. That's really good. Maybe you should make a short silent film to go with it and someone who sounds like Vincent Price could read the poem as a spooky voiceover. BTW, Wolf, I just saw your reply to one of my posts in the page before this one. You had posted about the 1931 version of "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde". I replied: "Some of the old black and white horror films are so cool. Like Bela Lugosi in "Dracula" that you brought up before." You replied: "Indeed they are, black and white suits horror like a glove, it really intensifies the mood and dread of the story, although it needs to be a good story otherwise visuals dont cunt for shit. A prime example of this is the film "Pandorum" great atmospheric visuals, dreadful plot and acting." I am wondering if there is any way you could capture the visual feel of those old black and white films using modern video equipment. Is it all to do with lighting or is it also the cameras and type of film that they used in those days? | |
