Firstly, we can choose between "threaded mode" and "flat mode" here. This had been specially implemented for the people who kept complaining about the board's threaded layout. Secondly, depending on one's browser, one could easily set up a style matching personal preferences for any site one visits. Dunno about other browsers, but it's easy to do in Opera. This would achieve exactly what you suggested, i.e. user-specific styles, even without having to change the website itself. (just for the record, vol. II) People adjusting the site's BG colour etc. to match their respective personal preferences in their own browsers rather than having the website changed would be easier and involve less discussion and disagreement, I believe. Just a thought. | |
