Or simply batshit DELUSIONAL??? Does she really love him despite her infidelity, and is the look in her eyes what he thinks it is? Or is she fucking sick to death of him (or worse, just bored to tears) and is that look in her eyes the flash of hope that getting caught cheating will lead to a merciful end to the relationship, and does it then turn to disbelieving horror when the poor schlub is all like, "Its cool, baby. Let's just get naked and hug it out." I've always taken it at face value, but now I don't know. | |
