| There's very little stuff that's posted online in 'paying' fansites that can't be found elsewhere on the net for free. Mp3's and videos can always be found or leaked sooner or later, so where's the incentive to part with cash if it isn't physical? Some people 'pay' to join a fanclub because they feel it makes them a better fan, which it doesn't. Or they might be able to see the celebrity post once in a while and go all stupid gushing over them. The celebrities get enough from fans when they buy their CD's, DVD's, posters etc or go to concerts, the least they can do is give a free fansite as a thank you. Unless of course when joining you do get regular magazines, CD's patches and stuff, then paying for membership to cover the cost of postage etc makes sense. Pud > Why?
