| What you see may be similar, but whats going on and the people involved in whats going on is very different. The Beast in the AFL video is cursed and alone, forced to kill to survive and allude a life torture likely to be had if he where ever caught. The girl signifies his redemption, his freedom from the curse and all the hurt that came with it. Armageddon is just so shallow, the characters are weak and annoying and the plot is so ridiculous that it makes James Bond look like social realism. I guess Bay's shortcomings as a director are over ruled when he has a good material that knows what it wants to be, such as Jim's script. I haven't seen much of Bay's earlier work, but Armegeddon and Tranformers are awful, Armegeddon may be the worst film I've ever seen > In my opinion what you see in Armageddon is hardly > different than in AFL.
