By non-replica I mean that the sets & costumes won't be like in Germany or in Vienna/Budapest, so it's just the visual aspects that will differ from the other versions. The directing will also be different, but there won't be any changes in the story and script. The English name is just for marketing purposes because it's the original name of Polanski's film (and English is "cool"). I don't think they have heard about the Broadway flop.

The director said in an interview that the current vampire hype, including Twilight and True Blood and whatnot, will be kind of a free marketing, but at least I haven't heard about taking influences from Twilight. Actually, I've understood that they want to highlight the Gothic and darker sides of the musical. Finland is practically the Promised Land of Goths and heavy rock, so it's natural that those aspects will possibly be more present in the production. Besides, if compared to the original 1997 production, even the Vienna & German productions nowadays are more rock.

In short: the original script (the one used in Budapest, I think, without the new Vienna ending changes), no Broadway influences, no sparkly vampire fluff.
