| I'll check these linkys later on today, but just to comment on Metal Oaf... (I mean to say Meat Loaf; but ain't it just a strange anagram? I made it up one day when real bored. As much as I love the man I know there are some whom would argue it is appropriate :) But whatever ) Alot has gone on in the Meat and Steinman world since 1998. A possibility of another song by them is slim to none. But could still be manageable; in the studio at the very least. I could also see it being difficult for Meat live. But I'm sure he would try anyway :) Meat has already shared he would love to work with Jim again. But I think its safe to think that Jim doesn't have the same enthusiasm. And really, I don't blame him. 2006 was just crushing; devastating even! Well, we'll see what lies down the road. Meat and Jim have made it ten years into the new millennium. I'm sure nobody was thinking about that back in 1977 . And when you think about it; that's pretty admirable, considering they were never really a band. But just two men with some idea to eventually conceive a record that is 'Bat Out Of Hell.' And with all the trials and tribulations between than and now. I salute them as individuals. There will be some more to come from each of them I'm sure. But we will just have to be patient. Go on with our day-to-day until the time comes. | |
