There are a few unreleased songs which could still be hits. Like "Body", for example. I think most people have heard live versions sung by Rob Evans (which are apparently lyrically different). You never know but "Bat Out Of Hell: The Final Flight" could be a really cool concept album. We know from Kasim's blog that he is working on Jim's "secret" project, which is not a very well kept secret. There were two fairly long threads about it on this forum recently. It can't be "BOOH" because that is not a secret. Its even been advertised in The Evening Standard. So, if Jim is working on two shows, I think we can safely say that Jim is not retired. The problem is that he's not allowed to blog about them and this causes frustration. It might also lead people to think that he is retired and not doing much. I'm glad that Kasim blogged, even if it was slightly naughty, because that at least offers some proof that Jim is active. If you look at the Scaramouche post (which was one of the posts in the longest thread), you will read Scaramouche correctly saying that Kasim is working on at least two projects with Jim (one of them being BOOH: The Musical which incorporates "Bat Out Of Hell: The Final Flight" - although it is not a cast album - and the other being the so-called "secret" project). Jim is very busy. I just hope that he will blog about it in the near future. At some point the fans are going to be rewarded for their patience. | |
