To me, it's four people. Four people are the force behind BOOH. Meat Loaf, the singer, Jim Steinman, the songwriter, Todd Rundgren, the producer, and Richard Corben, the illustrator of the fantasy cover art.

With all due respect, we don't actually know that. Anything could have happened.

I wouldn't call it a successful album. I think the only reason it went platinum was because of the name. The people were tricked by the name. And we don't know what happened after they realized it was just a trick.

Well, IMO, Bat 3, or as I call it, TMIL, doesn't work. It's all over the place.

Mmm, the trilogy had to be completed by both Meat Loaf and Jim, I agree, which is why TMIL is not that good, IMO again, but I'm not the only one who says that.

I don't know if he's being anti-loaf. I think he simply just prefers Jim's voice, and I think there's nothing wrong with admitting that on a Steinman forum.

I never criticized him for it not sounding like a Bat record. I knew it was going to be something different and I was looking forward to that (I felt a lot more positive about this album then the nightmare that was TMIL). But having heard the results, I was disappointed. Now, if he were to try something different and it sounded great, that would be wonderful.

Face it, the album imo kicks ass. and is far

I think it's wrong to compare them. They're two different things and they're not trying to be alike.

From what I can see, Wolf isn't anti-loaf. He just prefers Jim's work.

Oh yeah. I am enjoying this thread and hope we keep adding to it.
