| It could have been on Bat 2, and I think it was supposed to have been. But then Jim wrote another duet (There were 3 duets on TMIL. It only needed one.) I remember hearing Meat say that IACBTN was meant for Bat 2. Is it possible Jim re-wrote it to sound more appropriate as a duet? The song as it is just has no buisness being a duet, and call me picky but I think it should only ever be sung by a woman, but maybe thats just me "Seize the Night could have been great if done right, what we got wasn't bad, again, it had the problem with Bad For Good, it's just to slow" It's not a bad version. In my mind, it actually sounds like it could have worked in "Batman", with Meat as the Joker. I see your point, but I think for that to work that song needed to be more sinister, more seductive, the version we got was a little by the numbers for my taste, not bad, but nothing specail either. Body could well have been the Anything For Love of Bat 3, I like the song alot, I also think Only When I feel had legs and it has a great video waiting to be made. I really like the Original Sin "Future", subsequent versions havent really done much for me. I actually really dont like the Wuthering Heights vsesion, the singer is awful in my opnion. I cant see how anybody can not adore Not Allowed To Love, it's short, sweet and traggic. I think it would have been great on Bat 3. Might be a bit on the short side so I think another duet would have been great as well, maybe Braver Then We Are? Thinking on it, Still the Chirldren seems like a more suitable album closer Bat Out Of Hell story. Perhaps a reprise would work as something like an epilouge. A Jim Steinman Bat Out Of Hell 3 would be one nuke I wouldnt mind falling on me, I'd welcome it actually. I'd love it, with the mushroom cloud in my eyes, till the day I went blind....that got much more thought then it should have done :) | |
