Well the standards for a Bat album are very very high. Some of the songs on Bat 3 were good, but some of them should never ever have been on the album. Thrash? A bit harsh maybe. I can see you're angry about what happened. I too wasn't happy either. I felt sorry for Jim. I still went out and bought Bat 3 despite everything though. But I'm actually really annoyed with Jim just as much as I am with Meat Loaf. I mean Jim should have had the guts to come out and tell his fans why he didn't do the album after saying he would a few years previous to it's release. I mean he said NOTHING!! Do we really know the real story behind Bat 3? I think there was a lot of greed involved alright. But maybe Jim's writing ability and his ability to even play the piano are actually worse than we think and even know. Maybe the truth is Jim can't write good songs anymore. | |
