Three things:
1) I ran the FLAC through Audacity's noise removal tool (first selecting the first few seconds to get the noise profile, then run it on the entire file), and the result is quite decent. Maybe someone with more skills with audio cleanup and/or better tools can do something similar with a better result.
2) I would love, love, love more FLACs or higher quality MP3s.
