Saturday Night Live/ How Often Did Jim Perform With Meat Loaf?

Last night Sky Arts One broadcast an old "Saturday Night Live" from 1978. Christopher Lee was the host and Meat Loaf was the musical guest. He performed "All Revved Up" (I'm not sure if he performed another track which was edited out because of time - does anybody know?) I was surprised because Jim wasn't performing with him and yet for the German TV show "Rockpalast", (also broadcast by Sky Arts One and also from 1978), Jim not only performs but makes a very valuable contribution to the show. The voice introduces Meat Loaf to a dark arena and when the spotlight comes on it is Jim underneath it. Before Meat comes out, Jim leads the band through "Bolero" and plays a wonderful introduction to "BOOH" on the piano. During the concert he delivers several fantastic speeches. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how frequently Jim perfromed with Meat during the original Bat 1 concerts. Also, did Jim perform with Meat for any of the Bat 2 concerts? As far as "Saturday Night Live" goes, I was very pleased that Jim came out at the end of the show with everyone else. It was easier to see Jim than Meat. The late great John Belushi gave Jim a hug. I thought it was somehow fitting that Jim and Meat were on the night that Dracula was hosting. I'm surprised that they didn't do something about The Wolf With The Red Roses.
