I have to agree. I often agree with Evil One but not when he says "all the shit Jim used to pad out Original Sin." I never think of Jim as being someone who would use shit to pad anything out. This is what makes him different from hack songwriters like Diane Warren and Frank Wildhorn.

A lot of people love that album. Me too. Its the mature sequel to Bat 1. Bat 3 is full of padding. Its wall to wall.
