… to prove that I'm not ONLY a whinger. Attached below is a quick sketch of exactly WHY Bat2 cover annoys me re: the proportions not working properly for the front of an album cover, and everything bumping into each other at the top. Looking at it now, I think the motorcyclist could be even lower still.
Don't get me wrong, LOVE the painting. Would look AWESOME if they ever re-release the album with all the text taken off the front (Peter Gabriel, whose albums are known for the iconic imagery on the covers to the point that his first four do not even have titles, did exactly that when he re-released all of his albums a few years back).
