| Completely agree. MLOONAA may be my favorite Jim song. The lyrics can be taken so many ways. When this track surfaced was a very happy day for me. Rory puts so much into this. I still think this song has never been properly released and could still be a hit today. Air Supply or Bonnie didn't do it for me. Karine's demo was my favorite until the Rory Dodd track :) > Just got around to listening to this piano and vocals > version of Making Love Out Of Nothing At All. > > It is Rory, right? Sounds exactly like him. > > I've never given this song much thought, the vocal melody > in the bridge part (my heart is a drummer but he's lost > etc etc) never made sense to me. Sounded disjointed, like > I wasn't hearing whatever Jim was hearing when he wrote > it. Well I think now I hear it… This version is nothing > short of awesome. > > Rory's vocal on this is just pure sex. He's got one hell > of a voice. I wish Jim would make an album with him. :o( > Screw Rob Evan. > > Rory's voice when singing in the lower registers is > surprisingly… what's the word? Broad? Wide? Expansive?
