| I don't think it's that bad, comparatively speaking. The way I see it, meat's recorded output runs a HUGE gamut, from Bat 2 (perfect songs, recorded perfectly) thru to Midnight at the Lost and Found (pissweak, forgettable songs recorded terribly and performed boringly). On that spectrum... I'd put Blind before I Stop pretty well on the halfway mark. Rock n roll hero, rock n roll mercenaries, masculine, the title track.
