I don't think so. I think the artist would be involved every step of the way.

Well, according to what BMV said, Whelan was doing all the different versions, and he was frustrated because of all the changes it required, because it was disrupting his schedule. I don't think they would have hired another artist to intervene. But, certainly, I think somebody else would have added the Meat Loaf logo and the title.

In another post you say that Wilbury is

I think he said that after I said that he wasn't a fan of the art.

Also, the following from

I think that's a brilliant description. I wish somebody would write a short story about what's happening on the front covers of these albums. You could have so much fun.

Also like the first album, it features a

I'm not sure.

And Jim?

And it's the closest that any of the cover art comes to illustrating that vision.
