I work primarly with American and European Companies that do large / complex deals mainly in the High Tech arena. Companies like Xerox, Oracle, Misys, Fiserv, CSC, Siemens etc... The company I work for provides the sales skillsets and technology to monitor and help the progress of large deals that can be occasionally go as big as £50 Million -
These are bigger deals that financing a musical.

If I was pitching to someone like Karen Brady about backing a Musical called BOOH by Jim Steinman do you think she does not have her own view of what the story/vibe might be? Why does she like those songs in the first place, link it back to her own experiences and the reason for liking it and then build your story up from those likings. If she does not like Peter Pan because she links it to a childrens story you have lost her. Don't give a reason for an objection. Get her to buy in by giving her some creative ownership even though you have probably put the ideas into her mind in the first place.
