| I donīt remember everything! I donīt remember every little thing as if it happened only yesterday.... But I do remember that it must have been around 1984 (11 years old) when Meat was all over the place with Modern Girl. So I guess this song - not a Steinsong - was the beginning of it all. Because after that I found that red cover in my mothers record collection next to Dead Ringer. I first listened to BAT and I was stunned from the very beginning! Never heard something unearthly like that before! And then Dead Ringer. Same thing. Ok, so now I had to figure out who this guy next to Meat was on the back side. And when I had found out it still wasnīt all that easy to learn more - the web was far away. But I recognized his style, Bonnie Tyler for example was next. And I guess I found his one solo album in a second hand record store years later - and I was sooooo thrilled to read his name on it! Only thing left was the EP. Later I found another copy which included the EP. Jim through his music became an essential part of my life. And I love him for everything he gave me since then because I think itīs a lot more that just the greatest music - ever.
