But seriously... is a crappy revival better than leaving things be???
In my opinion, Steinman's work speaks volumes by itself!!!
It really doesn't need ANOTHER crappy interpretation...
listening to this stuff does not give people an accurate idea of what Jim and his music are about... nor will it attract the kind of people who will stick around after discovering what it is they have gotten themselves into...
As for being cynical... guilty as charged... life will do that to some people...
Does the fact that my opinion is coloured by my experiences and personal feelings make it any less worth expressing??? I thought that was what OPINIONS were all about???
