Greetings everyone!
So excited to be here. I am, I would argue, one of the biggest Jim Steinman fans in the Universe. And it's good to be among like-minded crazy folks and I look forward to getting to know you guys.
First of all, I would love to produce a version of "Tanz Der Vampire" in the United States. I have a friend fluent in German who is in the process of translating the text. I'm wondering if it would be feasible to produce such a show. I know I'd have to go through Jim's people to find out if rights are available, etc.
Also, I've written a show around Jim's music called "Room at the Top", which is the story of a filandering psychologist who gets assigned to work with patients at a mental facility. I don't know what kind of clearances I'd need to produce such a show, but maybe you guys can help point me in the right direction and perhaps even contribute in some way (I'm not asking financially, I mean more in the exchanging of ideas department).
