Why more depressing? You are a Sarah fan. And don't you think he did some of his best work when he was in love with her? Had they already started their relationship when he did Cats? If he had still been with Sarah and if he had still been in the very passionate mood that she could put him in, then he might have had the creative energy to make LND much better than it was.
