I didn't know that even though I used to watch that show quite regularily. I have seen two versions of the Ken Russell video. One was edited by the record company to try and make it more television friendly but it was actually more bizarre. Someone told me that the album was never given a proper release in America. Is that true? I wonder if it was because there was no way that MTV was going to touch the video and how can an album be promoted in America (especially then) without MTV exposure? Celine's video was so simple in comparison, although there was still the Jim influence of a ghostly motorcycle. | |
