They just sound bland to me. Compare Meat's "Bad for good" to Jim's original. Meat's live version shows you how it could have been, but it wasn't to be. The changes on "Pig" are just baffling. I don't get why they did that. "Break it" I'm sorry does not feel like the complete thing when it isn't "Only when I feel". And I wish that was the song that got released. I like "Break it" but I love "Only when I feel".
Oddly, the best moments of that album for me, are the non-Jim songs. I really like "Cry over me".
