What you must take into account is that 'raw' audio from a SACD cannot be directly converted to MP3. You have to alter the sampling rate (from 2.8224 MHz to 44.1 or 48 kHz) and the type of encoding used is completely different as well. So regardless how these MP3s sound, they will not have the same characteristics as the SACD.
(On the other hand, I only paid 10 euros for my copy, and have played it once. Still haven't heard the surround version on account of not having a surround set.)
